If you’re keen to make money online, or if you’re already trying and need some directions to try for free, then this full featured Clickbank Mall can be ready to go within a minute. But what is it actually all about?
– You get a hosted, full website, free of charge
– Your free website has full search facilities so your site visitors can find what they are looking for 
So, what’s the deal? Clickbank is the world’s first large, reputable, marketplace for what are called “digital products”. Typically these are e-books, DVDs – usually of courses and “How To” guides. It’s free to get a Clickbank account and all you then need is your username and you can instantly have an online mall to promote all the Clickbank products.
The reason it’s free is because you share the clicks (and potentially the sales) with the site hosts – you get 80% of the clicks. There is an option to upgrade and get 100% of the clicks, but if you’re not a seasoned affiliate marketer who knows the value of this product, then I’d recommend you stick with the free version.
If you’re an existing Clickbank user, then you’ll be interested to know it uses a tracking ID to track your site visitors/sales, so you know when sales are coming from your mall.
If you’ve already got a website then you can add this on quite seamlessly, just to offer your website visitors products which will be of interest to them, you can put a link on your existing website to your Clickbank mall, even targetting people towards specific categories which fit with your site’s readers. You’re providing them with extra choices and, if they buy, you get a large commission. Typically, Clickbank products will pay you 50-75% of the price. I use Clickbank and have made some steady cash from them – although it can be a tough market to enter as a lot of the products appear ‘spammy’.
To benefit from a free Clickbank mall, all you have to do is promote your personalised website url, which is linked to your Clickbank username. Clickbank pay by check, or by Paypal. Clickbank is the world’s leading affiliate marketplace, who have a good reputation for payouts.
Alternatively, once signed up, if you’re a regular forum poster, or if you have any profiles where you can put your website url, you can simply add your Clickbank url to your signature! Or, you can actively promote your site by advertising on free sites etc. There is a section once you’re logged in with other ideas too.
There’s also a free url shortening facility, so you can shorten your affiliate link to your mall, long links look unprofessional and awkward, so this is handy for using in forum signatures, or online free classifieds.
Let’s face it – it’s free and by just putting a link up on your website or in your signature you’re unlikely to become rich overnight! But, just 2-3 sales per year from a little bit of effort would be welcome. Alternatively, you can actively promote your free Clickbank mall and see how that performs for you.
I’ll admit it’s certainly not the best looking mall on the Internet! But maybe they’ll make it look a little better in the coming months.
This will be just what some people are looking for to make a little extra, but it’s not for everybody. If you’re interested in affiliate marketing, this would be a good entry point. They do provide full help and guidance to those who haven’t done something like this before, but you do need an entrepreneurial spirit to make much of the opportunity for most…. for those that do have the entrepreneurial spirit and are looking for “that little easy extra income” as a passive income, it’s worth trying.
